Hello and welcome! My name is Dayne - born and raised in Southeastern Connecticut. I am pleased you're here, and I'm delighted to introduce myself and my brand, Keys to History. When I was younger, my family and I lived in a house just a stone's throw from a major fort from the Revolutionary War period and my dad would always say that one of the fort's cannons (which was first fired on my birthday of all days) was fired in celebration of my birthday, July 3. As a little kid, I didn't know the difference, but it always made me feel great inside. It was around that time when my dad decided to bring a piano home and said to me, "Guess what you get to learn!" Over thirty years later, my love for history and music has defined who I am as a person, and it's my honor to be able to share these passions with people everywhere.

For years, I've been searching for the right way I can take my passions and skills to the next level, and this is my next big step. Keys to History represents a culmination of my love for everything from the history books, to the piano keys. It's my job and my joy to connect with those I can help in these realms whether it’s music for your special occasion, or a solo reenactment program that brings history alive before your eyes.
