Politics of Treason: the Descent of Benedict Arnold
He's the most infamous traitor in American History; a villain who sold his country for his own personal gain. But Benedict Arnold was born no traitor. In this talk, we explore the lesser-known history of Arnold's formative years and early relationships he made during the American Revolution. At the end, the question of why Benedict Arnold turned traitor will be answered and analyzed through a historical and contemporary lens of how politics and interpersonal relationships contributed to Arnold's downfall.
The Connecticut Sons of Liberty
The year 1765 changed everything in American History. Bands of secret organizations known collectively as “The Sons of Liberty” gathered in the shadows to plot against England and chart a new course for the American colonies. Learn some of the hidden history behind these revolutionaries and see how they changed the course of history in Connecticut.

Can you travel for talks?
Yes! I’ve done presentations all throughout Connecticut and can also travel to neighboring Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Please contact me if you have any questions about traveling outside these limits.
Do you charge for talks?
Typically, many organizations offer honorariums to speakers. If you or your organization offers honorariums or does not have funding to do so, please contact me to discuss those details
What settings are good for these talks?
I’ve done talks all throughout the region for museums, libraries, historical societies, senior centers, civic groups, and more. If you like history, you’ll enjoy it! Generally my talks are geared towards an adult audience, but let me know if anything should be refined for a specific age group.
